You Are Worthy Beyond The Work You Do
I recently had the privilege to graphic record a session designed to give participants a day of rest and reflection. Hosted by Dr. Torie Weiston-Serdan at the Youth Mentoring Action Network, a small group of educators gathered to focus on the benefits of self-care and mindfulness at work and at home. Below are a few takeaways that inspired me and I hope will inspire you too.
Take time each day to breathe and calm your mind.
Give yourself time to rest.
Play is necessary therapy.
Do something nourishing every day like gardening or listening to music.
Love yourself in a radical way so you can show up for others.
